Dr. Levey earned a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from the Stanford University School of Medicine. Prior to Stanford, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with dual degrees in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder where she was a Boettcher Scholar. While at Stanford, Dr. Levey focused on the development of novel protease inhibitors and protease activity based probes for diagnostic imaging applications. After her time at Stanford, Dr. Levey worked as a Consultant, and later a Project Leader in The Boston Consulting Group’s San Francisco office. While at BCG, Dr. Levey focused primarily on biopharma and global health. Major engagements included working to integrate the oncology portfolio’s of two major biopharmas during a major integration and working to develop a new drug and vaccine discovery strategy for a major global health foundation. Dr. Levey has authored several peer reviewed scientific publications and her inventions are covered in two US Patents.
